1. Akismet – In order to keep from getting spammed you’ll absolutely need to install and activate Akismet. Akismet is a spam filter that will automatically detect and either remove or que comments for your review. It’s a must have and works perfectly. Akismet is usually already installed in Wordpress so you should only need to activate it and add your WP Key.
