Adsense pays for the hosting of many blogs around the world in many cases it pays much more than that. Others make their entire income from Adsense alone.
Optimizing and integrating Adsense can be quite challenging. Here’s a list of the best Adsense Wordpress Themes available.
1. Problogger Clean | Download

2. SEO Blix with AdSense | Download

I’ve learned a few thing in the time I’ve been using Wordpress as a web development tool. When I first started using it I was quite skeptical because I had been hand coding websites since around 1998. Anything that was in any sense WYSIWYG was in my day forbidden so like I said it was pretty difficult to make the change. But now that I’ve been using it for a few years I couldn’t be happier.
There are a few things you should know when getting started: Why not a top 1o list of the “top 10″ most important things you should consider when setting up a Wordpress website.
1. Consider how you want your site to be layed out? What I mean is, how do you want you content to be displayed? This is an important consideration and should probably be it’s own post but with wordpress you can either setup the foundation as “pages” or “categories” certain websites benefit more from pages and others from categories.
Think of pages as rock solid they are not dynamic and should be reserved for items such as “Contact us” About Us” etc. If you want the section to be dynamic use categories instead. This way you can dictate where each post will appear. That way when a category is clicked the posts under that category will be displayed. For example: If you have a section about say “How to Draw” You’ll create a category “How to draw” as an empty category under that you will have sub categories “Sketching” “Stipple” & “Crosshatch” You can accomplish this by using parents of categories. If you don’t have the ability to alter the code within wordpress simply choose a theme built to take advantage of the categories layout.
2. Choosing a Wordpress theme is more than just the colors and the simple look. It’s all about navigation.
Must have stuff for a new Wordpress website. When you’re setting up a brand new wordpress website there are several essentials that you simply must have.

The Wordpress Checklist.
1. Akismet - In order to keep from getting spammed you’ll absolutely need to install and activate Akismet. Akismet is a spam filter that will automatically detect and either remove or que comments for your review. It’s a must have and works perfectly. Akismet is usually already installed in Wordpress so you should only need to activate it and add your WP Key.
2. SEO Plugin In order to set your way ahead of the crowd you’ll definitly want to install High Performance SEO or All in one SEO. I’ve been using All in one SEO for a while now and couldn’t be happier. But on this site I decided to give High Performance a try and I have to say I like the options available in the plug-in. Both plugins allow you to add title tags, excerpts, keywords, and descriptions to each post. What I like about High Performance is that it gives more options when creating pages.
3. MyPageOrder & MyCategoryOrder – The MyCategoryOrder plugin is the only way to easily change the order of your Wordpress Pages. Of course you could go into the code and do this but why do that when you can simply add the MyPageOrder plugin and move your page order around as often as you like.
4. The Add to Any – Share Save Button that you’ll notice on the bottom of this post (please feel free to click and share) is an all important connection to all your favorite social networking and bookmarking websites. When setting up your new blog, you don’t have to use the one I chose but it’s highly recommend that you chose some form of social bookmarking links for the bottom of each post. Some bloggers chose their favorite 4-6 and add a link to each in the singlepost.php file.
5. Google Sitemap Plug-in If you haven’t signed up for a google account you should most certainly do so if only for the use of Google Web Master Tools. I’m leading up to the fact that you should most definitely have a Google Sitemap and there are a few plugins that will will do it automatically for you and on the fly.
6. Tubepress - If you intend to use video on your new Wordpress website I highly recommend adding the Tubepress Plugin It’s not all that well know but I think it’s almost a bit of a secret but it’s a powerful little plugin that allows you total control over video on your website.
7. Contact Form 7 – You may want your visitors to have the option to leave you a note, submit content, or contact your for any other reason. In order to save time developing a complete for system, which can take some time. It was my least favorite task when setting up a website before Wordpress came into play, I recommend you install a href=”http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/”>Contact Form 7.
8. Wordpress Backup – Wordpress has a lot of files built into it, including all that content you’ve written. It’s highly recommend that you back-up your files that you’ve worked so hard on. Even write a full page and then have your computer crash? Imagine loosing your entire website.
Those are the most important must have tools when creating a new Wordpress website but I’m only at number 8. And everyone know that a top # list simply must have at least 10 items so, let’s see.
Ok the last two are just going to have to be fun because they are not crucial.
9. GD Star Rating If you enjoy having the stars so that people can come by and rate things on your website. You can easily add this functionally by getting the, you guessed it! GD Star Rating
10. Related Posts – I’ve used the Post footers before and they are quite useful, a post footer allow you to display posts that are related to what you’re visitor is already reading. I don’t know I noticed that on the site I added it to, it took up a lot of space and wasn’t utilized enough but every blogs and every site is different so it may just be perfect for yours!
What did I miss, what are your favorite plugins or plugins that are a must have. Add yours to the comments section below.
